Our story

My family and I live on a farm in Germantown, Ohio. We raise all Natural Beef, Pork and Chicken that we sell through our meat market McGuire Family Farms here on the farm. We raise a handful of Jersey Cows, Folsom, Mabel, Constance, and Josie that provide our family with nutrient rich amazing milk that we consume and use for our all natural soaps. I’ve worked in two different greenhouses as a propagation manager and production manager. Now I am a stay at home farm wife and mother to our daughter Eliza Jane and our son Lucas. I proudly raise our children, handmake all natural milk soaps and tallow lotions, tend to our animals, do farm chores, cook food from scratch meals, grow and preserve a garden, twice a day milk my cow Folsom, and without a doubt educate readers just like you by being a homesteading mentor.

My goal is to become your personal soap maker as well as also bring folks back to their roots of homestead living . I am striving to show how old fashioned living can be “cool again” .
